Boxed cake = foolproof tastiness, in fact my MIL ended up baking it 2 nights before the wedding for me, and she is not a baker. Refrigerated it, then frosted it night before the wedding and left it out overnight, it was super tasty!marbellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15080137239784559723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1180993925063400080.post-9292544396801198232011-07-26T12:26:31.789-04:002011-07-26T12:26:31.789-04:00I did the same thing.... decided I was making it, ...I did the same thing.... decided I was making it, then after several cakes that just tasted blah, actually got sick of cake making. So I bought boxed cake from Trader Joes (decent ingredients, nothing terrifying in there!) which you add eggs/butter to. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Would highly recommend. I got chocolate and added orange essence to it then topped with white chocolate choco-pan fondant (bought online - not super cheap but so worth it).marbellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15080137239784559723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1180993925063400080.post-17669115782532506582011-07-20T20:14:59.580-04:002011-07-20T20:14:59.580-04:00Listen to the force, young Jedi.Listen to the force, young Jedi.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1180993925063400080.post-74652446773826478392011-07-20T15:30:41.381-04:002011-07-20T15:30:41.381-04:00haaaa oh dear! Oh well, hope my kitchen is not still flour from one end to the other! Love MomElizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01037922095982377419noreply@blogger.com
